Prezi is a great tool for introducing and reinforcing family vocabulary through making an interactive family tree in Spanish. Prezi is cloud-based presentation software with a zoomable canvas that makes it fun to explore ideas and the connections between them. The software allows you to throw images, audio, video, and ideas onto an open canvas and present information in a visually engaging, non-linear way. Students can write a news article that generates to look like an authentic news story complete with dateline and headline. Students can also also use the website to provide dialogue for a squirrel, owl, flower, or tomato, or have authentic text written by a ninja or wizard.

StudySpanish is a wonderful website that offers options for studying beginning, intermediate, and advanced Spanish and gives students the option to learn pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, verbs, and idiomatic expressions. The site also offers cultural notes and articles on Cuzco, Dali, Iguazu Falls, llamas, the Palenque ruins and so many more interesting topics and a travel helper section that offers the vocabulary needed to function at the airport, at the beach, in a restaurant, or just simply meeting people.

The site has verb conjugation, vocabulary, and grammar graded activities as well as flashcards, crosswords, worksheets, and other printable resources. Conjugemos stores practice activities created by users and teachers can make their own activities and assign standardized quizzes.
